WHO IS ALEX?

ALEX - The POP PRINCE of IN:DEMAND
ALEX JAMES was born in Doncaster and graduated from The University of Manchester in 2002 with a degree in English and History.. What???
Alex is a real live music junkie and spends quite a bit of his time watching gigs at Manchester’s Academy and the Apollo.
He’s a massive fan of My Chemical Romance, Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, Ash and Frank Turner and will take the role as our Live Music aficionado.
Alex has spent 6 years presenting across the North of England including XFM Manchester, Galaxy and 96.2 The Revolution.
When he’s not presenting he says he puts pen to paper and writes! (Must be that English and History thing again) Actually, Alex has had work published in Citylife, Time Out and The Times.
Mr James is no stranger to the BIG NAME interviews IN:DEMAND has. “I’ve interviewed Hollywood Actress Michelle Williams and got her phone number, also Disney Pixar maestro Jon Lasseter.
Kelly Clarkson was quality, Ash and My Chemical Romance were great but I was a real mess while talking to My Chemical Romance - they say you should never meet your idols”.
Alex James was featured as the ‘One To Watch’ in a radio industry magazine and sadly admits he got the IN:DEMAND job because the producer thought he was the ex-bassist of Blur!

What was the worst thing you did at school:
I was always a very good boy at school cos my Mum was one of my teachers. At Sixth Form I did once lock one of the teachers out of the classroom but got in serious trouble cos apparently that poses a health and safety risk.

By tickling me or hiding any of my stuff. People who are late always pee me off too. If I can manage to get here on time then so can you.
